You never need a headshot, until you do.
And now you need a headshot. Your last picture is horribly out of date, but it’s the last time you had a half-decent picture of yourself. It seems like every selfie takes 20 tries to get anything useful.
Every group picture ends up with you making a weird face. Any good picture of you doesn’t really look like you at all. At least, not like how you feel about yourself on a good day – not what you see when you look in a mirror.
Don’t label yourself unphotogenic!
Headshots can be an extremely vulnerable and uncomfortable process.
I can promise two things: 1) I know about posing, and I will help. 2) I am willing to be just as vulnerable as we go through this process together.
As a businesswoman who has run 4 different businesses over the past 10 years, I have worked with a lot of talented photographers. I am grateful to all of them.
